2019-05-17

The Washington State Department of Health launched its second HIV prevention campaign for this year, titled HIV Chill Pill, on May 15. This bilingual campaign (English and Spanish) is primarily aimed at Washington State-based Black and Latinx men who have sex with men (MSM). The objective of HIV Chill Pill/ VIH Chill Pill is to raise awareness of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) as a trusted, reliable HIV prevention strategy. The media runs for 16 weeks and features ads via mobile devices and desktop, transit, print, billboards, posters, radio, and branded swag (satin eye-masks, wristbands, backpacks, coasters, postcards, tank tops and T-shirts).
