BWA re-launches successful "Healthy Penis" campaign in Cleveland
In time for the 2017 Pride season, the Healthy Penis campaign was relaunched in Cleveland, OH to address rising rates of syphilis in the city among men who have sex with men (MSM). The goal is to raise awareness of the rising rates of syphilis infection among MSM in Cleveland particularly those 18-35, and also encourage the intended audience to get tested regularly for syphilis. The campaign is an initiative between the Cleveland Department of Public Health and Circle Health Services, The People’s Clinic in collaboration with Better World Advertising. BWA refined and updated original campaign materials including the healthypenis.org website, palm cards, posters, banner ads, social media posts in English and Spanish, and print ads. Print and digital ads were placed in forums that are frequently used by the priority population such as Grindr, Jack’d, and the Scene a weekly publication.
